You know of a few options to make a few coins, the first is to help clear out the sewers below the city. Hundreds of miles of tunnels take the waste and filth of the city to specially designed reservoirs. Sometimes things get stuck, and need to be cleared. There is also an ever present supply of rats, which you get paid by weight to kill. The arena always needs people to both fight, and clean up after the fighting. In order to fight you would need your Master's permission. The farms and stables always need people to bend their backs for long hours with little pay.
The only activity that you see, which could be unlawful is a well dressed man beating a naked man with a riding crop. The naked man is being held by two other naked men, one of whom is covering his mouth so his screams are muffled. If the clothed Lord or Master doesn't own the naked man, he faces a fine for damaging another Lord or Master's property. (Unless of course the naked man deserves it, but that is for the courts to decide.)
You're not sure if Etsy would like your trinket or not, having never spoken to her. It's pretty though, and from what little you know of women they are either sadistic Masters or they like pretty things. Hopefully Etsy isn't a sadistic Master.
Unless you change your mind as to where you're going, you arrive at Master Hedge's shop without any trouble. Since you've been there before I will let you describe the shop itself, at least the main chamber where Master Hedge keeps the bulk of his goods.

Being that I am not sure if the well dressed man is the naked man's master or not, I shall not interfere. I do not like the idea of going down into the sewers or into the arena before I am allowed to have my gear.
As I approach Master Hedge's herbal mega-shop I pause in admiration. "Sometimes I wish I had been born with the gift of magic." I say right before I enter. I am greeted by the smell of all kinds of different plants growing in the greenhouse. I quickly scan the rows of tables containing a whole lot of plants that I have no clue of there purpose. I nod to the closest of the many workers as I walk by. While I carefully avoid the aisles that Master Hedges workers are occupying, I can't help but be confused at how Master Hedge is able to grow his plants during the cold season with the walls of his shop appearing to be all but not there. (the equivalent of having heavy clear plastic walls)
As I clear the vastness of the plant walls, I enter rows of shelves that contain bottles of various colored bottles. Passing along some of them I notice a couple of bottles that do not belong near each other. "I shall have to mention this to Master Hedge, I don't want my most favorite employer to be accidentally injured, or worse." I think.
I approach the counter where a average sized middle-aged man with short black hair and blue eyes is helping a lady bundle up the plants that she has just purchased. I step aside and nod as she passes. "Good afternoon Master Hedge. How are you today? Before I get into what brings me out here today, I noticed on my way in that there is a couple of bottles that are not in there proper places." I quickly tell Master Hedge which shelf, side, height and the individual bottles. "You had always told me that those two colors are dangerous if they mix."
After the bottles are taken care of. "I have come out today with sad news Master Hedge. For Mistress Selina's(I bow my head) trading expedition met a band of ogres. Master Hedge, I was the only survivor. I have reported to my new Master, Goram. I have been given two high suns worth of free time. I believe that Master will give me my orders then. Might you have any orders that need to be delivered? I have never had any free time in my entire adult life, I'm not sure exactly what to do with my self.

The man raises an eyebrow, and says, "If they mix they are dangerous, but while they remain bottled they are safe enough. I put them beside one another, so people could buy them together. Most people who buy the one, also buy the other because of the dangerous effect of mixing them. Regardless, you're not here for Selina today, so what do you require?" As you explain yourself, the man smirks, "You've been a slave to your Mistress for your entire life. You get given a couple days to do what you want, and what you want is for me to enslave you? Personally I think you might be crazy. I would have taken a loan against my debt, and gone to see a performance at the theater, or watched the fights if you're into that sort of thing." Shrugging the man continues, "If your heart is set, I always have orders that need to be delivered. A silver piece per run as usual, I think each run will take about an hour. Although done in a single trip the first four deliveries might take three hours together. I will have another eight prepared by the time you return, which will take another five hours."

"It would have been nice to have gone and seen the games, as I have never been to them before. Most everyone in my position would have done something other that what I am. Unlike most everyone else though I have tried to plan ahead a bit. I have dreamed about being one of the few of my class that are allowed to be clothed. To succeed at acquiring such a lofty goal in life I will have to work as hard as I can every day that I can. By my figuring at the normal rate of earning it would take somewhere about five hundred and fifty years to pay off my debt! That is somewhere around five hundred years longer than I will likely live. Even at a silver per delivery that I make for you it is a day off of those five hundred years. It doesn't seem like much when you consider the whole picture. Just in working extra taking your delivery's I have paid off over one thousand gold to my debt, that's ten thousand days, or thirty years of work that I won't have to do. This whole process would be much faster if you could find someway to do something that I haven't figured out yet how to do, that would be to cast spells.(said with a hope full smile.) I will most certainly take every order that I possibly can. One of these days I will be able to walk in and greet You while I am clothed."
I start picking up the stuff Master Hedge needs delivered.

Master Hedge smiles, "Ah, a dreamer. A dreamer with a head for numbers though, I guess that's why I keep hiring you. Most in your rank do not realize that their debt will outlive them, let alone attempt to pay that debt off anyway. How much debt do you still have?"
You gather up the first four deliveries, and make your way out of the building. Once outside you set out the deliveries, and take note of the addresses, mentally picking the fastest route though the city. A route that doubles back on itself so that when you drop the last package you will be close to Master Hedges store.
I need three Perception checks, all DC 15.

Without hesitation when Master Hedge asks, "Seventeen thousand three hundred fifteen gold and eight silver. The only dream that I have anymore is of the day that I have no debt hanging over my head. Thank you Master Hedge for the opportunity's to help reduce my debt!"
After I pick up and stow the first round of deliveries, I double check there locations about town and set off.

While you're traveling about you notice something odd, someone seems to always be where you are. Now, you wouldn't say that he is following you, but during your first hour of travel he always seems to happen to be around where you are. The man is never looking at you, and always seems to be engaged with his own affairs. You pass if off as nothing, but keep an eye out for him anyway. During your second hour of travel you don't catch sight of him at all, and realize that he must have just had business where you did. Maybe you mistook him as someone else. Naked people do tend to look like other naked people after all.
During your last hour, the hour where you're headed back toward Master Hedge's shop you spot the fellow again. Only this time you make eye contact, not once, not twice, but three times, and several blocks apart at that. If he's just going out on his own business, then this is stretching the realm of coincidence. When you arrive back at Master Hedge's shop the fellow is openly following you, and only breaks off as you enter the showroom itself. You watch through the window as he smiles at you and darts off down a side street.

After quickly entering Master Hedge's shop, I take but the briefest of glances out the window to see him smiling at me before darting off.
I am taking the smallest amount of time that I can to drop off anything that the first set of stops might have had to come to Master Hedges, and pick up my new set of deliveries. I make sure to listen carefully to where they are going and any special instructions that may go with them.
"Will I be picking anything up to be coming back Master Hedge?(I seem a bit anxious, kinda like I can't wait to get back out there.)"
I then plan the fastest route that I can so that I finish near Master Hedge's. I would also like to pay extreme attention to noticing if that person is following me again. If I do notice him following me I would like to alter my route in such a way that I can lure him into a back street/alley to which I can trap him. If not I will continue upon my deliveries.
While at each individual location I will inquire about anything that the shopkeeper may need delivered to any of the stops that I have remaining, or any that I will be passing by upon my trip back.

Master Hedge has your next set of deliveries set in an open topped basket. Each package is wrapped in paper and tied closed with twine. A note is attached to each detailing the address, and the client's name. It doesn't take you long to gather the supplies, and assess your fastest route through the city. Master Hedge doesn't seem to be around for you to ask your question, but a few moments of sending your thoughts through the network within the city gets you the desired result, "Nothing coming back today Bhram. If you want work I will have more tomorrow." Master Hedge answers.
When you first leave Master Hedge's establishment, you don't see the man that followed you before. After about twenty minutes however, you catch sight of him behind you as you round a corner. You speed up, and drop off half of Master Hedge's supplies before your knowledge of the city gives you an idea for the perfect place to ambush whoever is following you. You enter into an alley, and immediately slip into a shadowed alcove knowing that the alley ahead stops short at a large metal gate. The man that was following you enters the alley, and passes your alcove. The man then stops some twenty feet from you, when he sees the gate ahead.
Will you slip away using Stealth? Or step out blocking the man's only exit from the alley, and confront him? The alley is 40ft long, with a ten foot high metal gate at the other end. The walls are smooth and windowless on the first floor. The second floor has six windows, and there are 2 other alcoves beyond the one you slipped into. Each alcove contains a door to access the buildings beyond.

Right after this person passes me by, I will quietly start sneaking up behind him. I am really hoping that he doesn't hear me as I prepare to give him a demonstration in how to subdue somebody. Just as soon as I am within melee range of him I am putting on the city's best display of grappling.
Result of your roll Stealth (1d20): 13 Result of your roll Touch AC (1d20 + 4): 11 + 4 = 15 Result of your roll Grapple check (1d20 + 4): 17 + 4 = 21
If by some awesome chance that I manage to pull this off I will immediately thereafter attempt to pin the victim of the grappling display.
Result of your roll Grapple check (1d20 + 4): 12 + 4 = 16
Not till after I have pulverized him do I want to even speak to my victim.
Result of your roll 1d3 + 2: 1 + 2 = 3

You slip from the shadows of the alcove, becoming the hunter instead of the prey. Two steps later you have fallen into step with your intended victim, but as you reach out a hand to initiate the grapple, he drops to one knee as he spins about to face you - one hand lashing onto your extended wrist. He jerks your wrist, forcing you up onto your toes as your arm is twisted painfully. (6 subdual damage) You can tell from his form that he has had extensive training in wrestling techniques, although he doesn't seem that worldly.
Your turn. You're currently grappled by him.
(In game terms... You failed your stealth check, passed your touch attack, failed your grapple, and then failed to resist his grapple. He has improved unarmed strike and improved grapple, but he is lower level than you.)

At this point in time I have put all my marbles upon being able to beat him at grappling, therefore I am betting that I can outlast him. Even know my opponent appears to be better trained than I am, I shall continue to grapple it out per say.

You twist your arm free for a moment, and then drive an elbow into the man's ribs hard. A huff of air escapes through his clenched teeth. (4 subdual damage) The man pulls a knee up, and shifts his weight sideways, breaking your grasp the man drives his forehead into your nose. Blood flows freely from your smashed nose. (3 lethal damage) With your eyes blurred with pain and unshead tears, you pull up both knees and put a foot on the man's thigh. Lurching your entire body, you toss the man off of you into the wall with a sharp crack. Scrambling up onto your feet you scurry toward the man to press your advantage, but see no need when you see the man sprawled upside down resting on his shoulders. His head twisted to one side uncomfortably, and his legs curled over himself. His position makes you stretch as if your own body was twisted uncomfortably.
What do you do now? You stand in an alley over an unconscious body. The open mouth of the alley has people passing by constantly, if any looks to one side the current situation looks rather dire for you.

Taking but the briefest of moments to catch my breath after narrowly defeating what I thought would be a hapless foe, I quickly grab his sorry carcass. Mustering all the strength that I possibly can, in the shortest amount of time possible, I drag him into the alcove that I had just hid in. I will take some care as not to further damage this pathetic victim. I am going to lean in the corner the furthest away from anyone random eye's.
Once he is slouched there uncomfortably I will take some time to make sure that he is not in any actual danger of not surviving our little foray into hand to hand combat. If at all possible I would like to try and help him enough that he becomes awake faster than normal.
Once he has been attended to I am going to sit with him till he acquires the status effect conscious. At that time I am going to interrogate him thoroughly.

You easily drag the unconscious fellow into the alcove, propping him up in the corner. Then you quickly run your hands across his body, assessing his wounds, and finding him stable. With your skill you're aware that it will take at least an hour before the man will wake up. Even hidden in an alcove in a seldom used alley, standing over the unconscious body of a man you just beaten in combat strikes you as a bad idea. Anyone who happens to notice you will broadcast what they see to everyone in the area. Depending on which Master or Lord is first on scene, they might not bother to figure out what happened before they suggest a punishment. You've heard that some Lord's punishments make Mistress Selina's punishments seem like a tickle fight...

With a soft sigh I make him as comfortable as I possibly can in the alcove. Just as soon as I am satisfied, I am regathering my stuff and continuing my deliveries. I am going to try and rework my route so that I can pass back by this guy right about the time that he should be waking up.

With your through knowledge of the city, you know that you can reroute you run to double back about ten minutes or so after the fellow should wake up. Otherwise You would have had to add an extra hour to your already long day to arrive as he wakes up.
When you arrive back at the alley, the alcove is empty. You do however notice the man that you beat senseless earlier standing motionless in a group of three other men. Your adversary has a look of concentration on his face. You suspect that he is explaining what happened earlier to the other men. One looks over and you duck your head back quickly to avoid notice.
What do you do now?

I would like to remain hidden there long enough to quietly listen in upon there conversation. I want to know anything and everything about why this person was following me. If at any point that I am discovered I will quickly escape the area using my superior knowledge of the city to out maneuver them.

After ducking back you peek several times until an opportunity presents itself to sneak closer. Once closer you can clearly see that the group isn't speaking vocally, but instead using their telepathic link. It's hard to garner any information from a group of naked men, the only thing you could learn about them would be from their mark. Each of the men in this group are wearing a band of cloth tied over their hand to hide their marks.

I will take a second or three to put there faces into memory. I shall go upon my way. With my deliveries for the day done I will return to my assigned quarters for the evening. During the walk back my mind wanders on about gold, and how much the next couple days are going to help pay my debt down....

You put them into memory, and head about your business. When finished, you make your way home. Because of your earlier troubles you're hyper vigilant, thus you notice that along the way you're being followed again. This time you notice several people taking turns to follow you so that it's less likey they will be spotted by their quarry. When you twist and turn though the streets in an attempt to loose them, you quickly find them ahead of you too. The only clear path seems to be back to your Master's estates.
