This is the thread where I will post information about the game world. If you want me to add information about a location, race or anything else about the game world, send me a PM or an Email and I will add what I can. I might not add something if it will act as a spoiler.
For simplicity's sake I have kept the names of the months the same as the real world. To further simplify things, I have made each month consist of three, ten day weeks. In addition to the 360 days within the regular year, there are five festival days: New Years day, the Rebirth Festival, the Imperial Coronation Festival, Summer's End Festival, and the Harvest Festival. With these five festivals included, the total length of the year is 365 days.

Days of the week:
1 Dawnday: Like the daily dawn, this day welcomes the new week.
2 Lightday: Named for Goddess of light, for brightening the week, and keeping the Dark One at bay.
3 Earthday: Paying hommage to the element of earth.
4 Fireday: Paying hommage to the element of fire.
5 Natureday: Set between the four elements, as it is a combination of them all.
6 Windday: Paying hommage to the element of wind.
7 Aquaday: Paying hommage to the element of water.
8 Darkday: named for the Dark One, as he creeps into all things.
9 Duskday: Like the daily dusk, this day ends the week.
10 Twilight: Between dusk and dawn is a quiet time.

Urutah (OO-ROO-TA).
Urutah is a simply farming village of about a hundred people. The town itself is located in the center of a ring of mountains, if someone was to walk from Urutah in any direction, they would reach the base of the mountains in less then ten hours. There are two passes into the valley, one in the east and another in the west. Its through these passes that Urutah stays connected to the rest of the world. Although Urutah is technically part of the Empire, the Empire has all but forgotten about Urutah, only sending a tax collector every few years, if at all.
For the most part Urutah is self-sufficient, gathering all the food it requires from the land. Urutah does however trade artwork, food and animal byproducts with the Empire through the eastern pass, and with Fringe Point Castle through the western pass. The Empire provides master crafted tools, weapons and armour, while Fringe Point Castle provides strange trinkets and baubles from the wilds beyond the Empires border. Urutah has a solid trading foundation with the Scaal to the south as well, gathering stone, metal and gems from the Scaal mines.
Village Locations:
Village Green - A gentle hill covered in soft green grasses, the perfect place to gather for a picnic, a dance or a town festival.
Stitches and Scars - Old Lady Medilian runs this all purpose medical building, from salves and ointments to midwifing, tending the sick and stitching up the wounded she does it all. She charges 3sp/day for her direct assistance, and she also makes healers kits and sells them for 50gp. She has been known to give lessons now and again in the ways of Alchemy, and Healing.
Buns and Biscuits - Roz is both the owner and only baker at this aromatic shop. She is known throughout the valley and beyond for making some of the best honey cakes around. She makes and sells her confectionery delights for quite reasonable prices. Generally 2-5cp will get you anything in her shop. If you wanted a specialty cake or something rare or exotic she does take custom orders as well.
The Boars Tooth Inn - The place to be for anyone over the age of fifteen in Urutah. Feldman, the innkeeper, keeps a good clean home away from home. Niome, the only server, always gets your food to you steaming hot, and manages to keep everyone's tankards full. Zach is rarely seen in the front of the house, but his food is what keeps people coming back. The six good rooms available will run you 2sp a night, ale is 4cp a tankard, wine is 2sp a glass, and a plate of Zach's finest will cost you 3sp. Although the staff is competent and the prices are excellent, people come here for the socializing. Town gossip, rumors, and travelers tales can all be found here.
The Longest Mile - If you need a mount, or anything related to mounts Zek and his sons Mike and Davis are the men to go see. The Longest Mile offers stabling at 3cp per day, and can be called upon as a messenger service as well.
Fire and Furnace - Duncan runs this smithy, and although he doesn't make anything of master work quality. He is known for his very reasonable prices. (1/2 market price for materials + 3sp/day of work)
Example: A chain shirt has a market price of 100gp, which will cost 33gp3sp3cp in materials, and take 38 days to complete.
33gp3sp3cp+(3spx38)days = 44gp7sp3cp.
Chop and Steak - Stanfield is the butcher here, offering rations at a rate of two for 1 gold piece. He can also be called upon to carve up any critters the locals hunt. He only charges a silver to butcher an entire creature. Adventures' sometimes bring the corpses of odd creatures from the wilds to Stanfield.
Hide and Seek - Marcus runs this tannery and bounty hunting office. Messengers from the Empire bring wanted posters to Marcus, just in case any felons try to hide out in the quiet countryside of Urutah. Marcus is also known to make Masterwork goods out of leather, as well as barding for horses.
Food and Grain Storage - This building is exactly what the name describes. A warehouse of sorts where seed, grains, and products being made ready for trading are held. This building is well protected against vermin, and a heavy duty lock from the best locksmith in the Empire was installed on the door to keep out any thieves or tricksters.
