"All in good time" Orellow says and waits for the Mushroom man's response. He also adds in he'd like to know more about the cave they're in. He shows the mushroom man all he sees is darkness and the unknown and that may lead to him unintentional hurting others.

Orellow, in response to your shame you get, "Calm." Images follow like a time lapse of the wound pulling itself together, your mind translates, "It will heal in time." You walk closer to the Myconid and the shrieker, and there is a much quieter wail. Not the ear shattering piercing screech from before, more of a whining. "Calm." Is projected from the Myconid, which your mind has now identified as Farmer. A second presence joins the first, this one is not as strong, you feel it's fear. When you stop short, and project your apology the fear seems to lessen. Another presence arrives in your mind, remarkably similar to the fear sending one, but this one only sends curiosity. Lastly, another presence this one sending imagery of a familiar looking Dwarf leading a Human through darkness. The Dwarf looks majestic and regal, while the Human looks imbecilic.
Farmer sends images of this cavern as if seen through darkvision. This corner of the rhombus has growing things which light disturbs. Behind the growing things is a tunnel to another cavern, this one more of a massive hexagon or octagon. This octagonal cave has much more growth, and the other Myconids that you saw before seem like they're growing right alongside all the other fungal masses and plantlife. Back in the rhombus shaped room the opposite corner is home to an angry little bird. It lives across a silently flowing river, and uses a tunnel in the left wall to get around the river. The tunnel is very small. He shows you another tunnel too, this one also on the left wall, but up well off the ground. Lastly he shows a new tunnel, the one you came from in the right wall.
After a moment he adds a warning, it shows dead humanoids growing fungus. After a while the fungus covered Humanoids get up, and defend the plant covered corner of the rhombus shaped room. Your mind provides the translation, "We are not helpless, and we will defend ourselves."
"Go. In. Peace." It responds to your request for it's desire. It is at this point that Knuckles sees the Myconid walk away, and Orellow no longer feels watched.
(OOC: Knuckles, you're also getting all the imagery from Orellow, both Shriekers and the Myconid. You have been since I sent "Stop. No. Fight. Peace." in a previous response.)

Orellow smiles and waves goodbye to the mushroom, sending a word of thanks via his mind. he then turns. "Knuckles, Guide me to the wall, I can't see a damn thing, I'm gonna make my way to the surface and explain what we found, you check the other side of the cave, but don't engage if you can help it. I'll be back as soon as I can and we'll check the rest of this cave together"
After being guided to the wall, Orellow makes his way to the exit with the intent of finding Biggs and informing him of the Mushroom man.
As Orellow stumbles through the dark, following the wall Avarice's voice echoes off through the cave. "That dwarf had the right idea, why're we wasting our time with Mushroom men when there could be treasure elsewhere?" She asks and he sighs. "Cause its whats right." Orellow answers flatly. Silence at first and then a ghostly laugh resonates across the cave. "If you say so" Avarice giggle mischievously. The hell is that girl planning now?
(OOC: Perception:13+6=19 to find anything of value in the images, particularly on the right side, as well as to see what the F*** that angry bird looks like)

"You take all the fun out of exploring, but alright." I say while guiding Orellow back to the exit. I then turn my attentions towards making it to the other side of this cave. I shall attempt to take a bit of extra care as to not be hostile with the shroom people.
"Now what do we have over here?" As I wander down the cave...

The images were remarkably detailed, you could see everything in crisp black and white contrast. The rhombus shaped room is nearly empty aside from the river that flows silently through the room on the opposite side as the growth corner. The wall you came in on is stark aside from the entrance you used. The wall opposite your entrance is stark aside from the angry bird thing's little tunnel around the river, and the other tunnel that leads off forty feet above. The Myconid colony on the other hand is filled with fungal life, all linked in a circle of telepathic communication. There may have been a tunnel blocked by overgrowth, but it could have just as easily been a fold in the rock. There is a bit of wealth in the Myconid cavern, where their leader sits there was a small crystalline structure growing naturally. Angry Bird ThingLyle, you see a dark tunnel leading underground in the direction you heard that terrible noise. (OOC read above for full descriptions of the areas.) Knuckles, you return to the cavern and you climb down the twenty feet required to reach the cavern floor. The images you had in your mind tell you that a river crosses the far corner of the room, and that an angry bird inhabits the other side of said river. As you cross the room, your keen Dwarven sense of all things underground warns you that the stone drops away ahead. Testing the ground ahead with your boot you dip your toe into the water of that silently flowing river. Without light to reflect off it's surface it blends perfectly with the surrounding stone. You have managed to find the corner of the room, but so far no angry bird creature.

Orellow make it outta the cave, waving at the halfing on his way by "Don't go left!" He barks. Before using his acrobatic skill (14+6=20) to scale upward as swiftly as possible to inform Biggs about the mushrooms. With that done he snags another light source, leaving however much it costs in his wake as he climbs back down in an array of somersaults and flips.

Biggs nods, "Aye, we've run into them before. I can have a team clear 'em out at some point. They usually have a weird crystal thing around someplace." He turns to head back into tunnel nineteen.

Orellow grabs Biggs' shoulder, darkness flooding his eyes. His grip tightens and he turns the dwarf around. "What do you mean, Mr. Biggs? and my god help you if you have not a good reason as to why you never informed us of those creatures" Orellow's shaking, as if fighting something back it seems hes trying to be polite but something is compelling him to run his short sword through an insolent little dwarf who needlessly endangered himself and others.
"Relax" Comes a familiar voice like a soothing scent through the air and Avarice has her arms around Orellow's shoulders. "At least hear the man out before you cut him to pieces, maybe hes got good reason. Or maybe he's just hogging everything for himself, stalling the expeditions and milking resources for his own gain" She giggles, her hands slipping away behind him. Orellow opens his mouth to speak to Biggs before a loud crack silences him. Avavrice, who's sitting on the dwarfs head, slapped him. "Enough! Your no rabid beast with a hunger for such foolish things" She growls, grabbing his face and making him look her in the eyes. "You're a man of Venca, a thinking and secretive man. If this miserable little dwarf is hoarding goods then they will be yours" She informs him her voice getting steadily more tantalizing as she brushes her small hands over his cheek. "But, only" She says sternly. "Under the right conditions" She looks him dead in the eyes and like that. She's gone.
Orellow raises his hands before Biggs can speak and stands up straight, taking a breath and then looking at the man. "I apologize" Orellow says sincerely. "My nerves are a little rattled after the encounter, Forgive my outburst" He lowers his head and brings it back up to look at the dwarf in the eyes.
(OOC: This must be destiny! Nat 20+6 for Insight. I'm scanning this dwarf for any little hint of a lie, any sign of treachery, guilt or anything of that sort, i want dirt on this fucker! Ahem... Assuming there's dirt to be had... Sorry, writing this got me a lil wired)

The angry or not so angry bird is of no concern to me. If it gets in my way it will be an angry lunch. "Well there is the river that I saw, boy is it dark in here." Loudly sighs, "I hate doing this," Out of my pack I pull one of my torches and light it up. "This will help a bit" Now I am going to continue to check out the rest of this cavern. There may have been an overgrown way out? I will attempt to check it out, without causing harm to the goomba's that are residing here.(though if I see a turtle I may stomp on it and kick it hehe.)

Orellow, Biggs spins as you turn him around, smacking your hands away, "Keep your damn hands off me adventurer. If you want a bloody lesson in every flaming creature that lives in the underdark you've come to the wrong Dwarf. This expedition has encountered circles of Myconids a couple times now. I guess there are a bunch of em around." He shrugs at your apology, "Save it bub, just keep in mind what you're here for." He gets you to describe everything that you found so far, and he makes a few shorthand notations on a scrap of parchment. Then he walks over to an angled table thats too low for you, but just the right height for his shorter stature. He pulls out a map case and unrolls a stack of maps. As he flips through the pages you can see them labeled 1-14 with sketches with the tunnels and caverns below. There are notations in the Dwarven script along the side of some parts. He stops on the 15th page, which is nearly blank. All that is drawn is a circle with a short rectangle sticking out of it. The end of the rectangle has lines extending to the left and right that stop. He glances at the notations, and quickly sketches in the rhombus room, and the silently flowing river. He adds a Dwarven notation in the corner where the angry bird is supposed to be. If you told him the layout of the Myconid room he adds that too. Lastly he adds the tunnel in the opposite wall, and another notation.
The Dwarf reads like a book, quickly suppressed anger and annoyance at being touched. You gather that he wasn't hiding anything, based on past experience he figures there would be a crystal thing wherever a circle is found. He doesn't know what is in tunnel 15, he's relying on adventurer input to fill out his map.
Knuckles, the moment you light your torch the shine off the water is unmistakable. The river cuts the corner from the wall opposite your entrance tunnel to the right wall. A second thing is unmistakable as well, a mad sounding coughing cluck hiss and the sound of flapping leather, like bat wings.
Roll Init.

Hes clean... For now. Orellow thinks to himself and takes his leave. He remembers all the dwarven notations he's seen, especially those retaining to number 15. Hopefully Knuckles could help me figure out that scribble... Orellow dashes down over the stairs and across the walls, using his acrobatics (use the previous roll) to get down as quickly as possible and he dashes into the cave, slapping the Halfling on the back as he passes "Hurry along, or you'll miss all the fun" He laughs and grabs a light source (maybe a torch? I'm not picky) as he goes to join back up with Knuckles.

Lyle lights his lamp and proceeds down the cavern slowly sticking the the center of the path so he can see around any corners or cracks that may be around. "Even with this lamp this cavern is still very dark" Lyle whispers to himself. As he proceeds he starts getting a little on edge thinking about the creatures that could have made such a loud noise in the mine. "No time to have fear i have to prove that im bigger than i look." Lyle puffs his chest out and walks with pride on his face but a sweltering doubt in his mind.

Surprise Round: The creature darts out of a hole in the wall, running low to the ground toward you. It leaps into the air and glides straight at your face. It's beak stabs at you repeatedly as it makes that awful coughing hiss sound. It's beak manages to just barely catch your exposed flesh. You feel yourself stiffening, and your eyes widen with shock when you see that pieces of your flesh are beginning to turn to stone. (2 Damage + Restrained)
Round 1: Knuckles, You manage to bat the creature back to the ground with the side of your blade. It immediately leaps back at your face with buffeting wings and stabbing beak, but you manage to just barely keep your shield between your tender flesh and it's lashing beak. (Con save DC 11 or turn to stone.)
